Clarification On Universities Resumption Date for next month

Good evening my dear esteem readers.

When will school continue in Nigeria? Are you asking when school will start again? This site is for you! We will share the latest news on school updates in Nigeria.

August 11th update: will school really resume in September?

Recently, most of the students asked us if it is true that all schools (higher education institutions) in Nigeria will reopen in September 2020.

ANSWER; NO OFFICIAL NOTIFICATION HAS BEEN UPDATED IN SEPTEMBER.

However, there are strong signs that schools could resume in September or perhaps October.

Why do we (all schools) think like this?

The National University Commission (NUC) has instructed all VCs to set a level of preparation for safely reopening differences. Several schools, such as UNILORIN, have stated that they are ready to continue.

A few days ago, more than 10,000 COVID-19 patients were discharged. This seems like a relief.

To end the ongoing strike, ASUU said it was ready to continue talks with FG.

Just to clarify again; We have just suggested that schools can resume in September or October 2020. In fact, there is no official announcement yet.

Are we really satisfied with news like that?
