Tony Elumelu reveals how much he pays his daughter monthly

Nigerian economist and serial entrepreneur, Tony Elumemelu has disclosed the monthly stipend he pays his first daughter, Oge.


The chairman of Heirs Holdings, the United Bank for Africa and Transcorp, Elumelu made the revelation in a recent chat on Arise TV during their Morning Show anchored by ace journalist Reuben Abati, alongside Rufai and Tunu.

The founder of the Tony Elumelu Foundation talked on so many topics ranging from his businesses, government policies, family matters among others.


As a proud father and loving husband who never shy away from showing off his family on social media, TOE as he fondly calls himself was sheer excited when the question about his family came up and it was Reuben Abati who acknowledged that he is always posting his daughter Oge, the twins and other family members on his Instagram page.

Elumelu stated that family means a lot to him and also narrated an incident that involved him and his daughter Oge, who he said will take over the mantle from him when he retires from the business space.

According to Tony Elumelu, he asked his daughter sometime if she had received her monthly stipend and she said no. He now said Ok and told her to make sure she is saving. He went further to reveal that he pays his daughter Oge, $500 (N240,000) every month as stipend.

Oge is Tony Elumelu's first child and daughter. She recently enrolled in the London School of Economics in September 2020 where she is receiving her university eductation.
