Davido & Tems Made Us All Proud in Khalid's 'Know Your Worth' Single.

In Nigerian music industry, there are only a few of the headliners making us proud and actually 'Taking Afrobeats To The World' and if there is anyone topping the list then its Davido. 'Know Your Worth' is another collaboration we are proud is from products of the Nigerian Music Industry.

American singer and songwriter, Khalid who is currently signed to Right Hand Music Group and RCA Records. Khalid has been known over the years to be a super talented whose genres are Contemporary RnB, Soul Music, Pop Music and Hip Hop Music. Khalid has worked with several American and foreign musicians and has hits songs topping so many charts. He also has so many awards to his name. Just recently Khalid released a new song titled 'Know Your Worth' and on this song, he featured our very own Davido & Tems.

Know Your Worth is basically a song to encourage those in a relationship (most especially females) to know their worth as a person, and ensure they are not being played with or have their feelings toyed with, finding someone who would put you first and 'keeping your head up'

Davido and Tems did a joint verse on the second verse of the song and its super!

Davido started the second verse of the song with an amazing entrance talking specifically to the females, in his words "It’s been three years still counting, You in love but still doubting, isn’t he loving you" Asking if the man in your relationship is keeping you happy ? Treating you well or making you smile?

In this song, his lyrics went in smooth and perfect and he did a nice blend in using 'Pidgin english' to pass his message also when he said "Shey him dey treat you right?" .. This is him representing Nigeria as a country in a song that's internationally influenced. That's Classic!

If you are a fan of Temilade Openiyi, popularly known by her stage name Tems, then you will agree with me that in all her released songs she has never disappointed and a collaboration like 'Know Your Worth', there really isn't any female musician to compete with her in this genre and position because most of her songs are already preaching the motive behind Know Your Worth.

In the second half of the second verse, Tems jumped in right after Davido and preached on the 'real thing, real love, real feelings' telling both genders to go for what's real irrespective of the past hurt or relationship.

Now, that's some good music ! Already two days after release and 'Know Your Worth' is currently at the Number 1 position of Top 100 Songs in Nigeria (Apple Music Chart).

In the act of paying respect to Nigerians making us proud internationally, then Wizkid,Burna Boy, Rema D'Banj, Wande Coal shouldn't be left out as these are the real ones who are constantly taking Afrobeats to international level.
