Finally! England Government Releases Premier League Resume Date

England government have reportedly given the Premier League 1st of June to resume the current season.

The Premier League has been put on hold since March due to the increasing number of cases in the UK, but as per reports, the EPL officials were planning on a "Project Restart" and it seems the government have now given them the green light to resume it season.

However, the decision is as it stands, if there are any changes or increase in the pandemic situation in England, then it will be put back on hold but as for now, Chelsea could start playing again behind closed doors and without fans.

According to the Daily Express, the government have finally given the Premier League a go ahead to resume football from the 1st of June after much discussions for the past weeks.

Unfortunately, there will be no fans allowed in the stadiums as matches will be played behind closed doors.

So guys, get ready to welcome back one of the most watched leagues in the world.
