According to reports making the rounds on social media and on the news media, Hushpuppi and others conspired to steal £100 million (approximately $124 million) from an English Premier League soccer club.
This was contained in a statement released by the US Department of Justice.
The statement reads in part:👇
Abbas and others further conspired to launder hundreds of millions of dollars from other fraudulent schemes and computer intrusions, including one scheme to steal £100 million (approximately $124 million) from an English Premier League soccer club, the complaint alleges,”
It would be recall Abbas, popularly known as Huspuppi was arrested earlier in June along with Olalekan Jacob Ponle, also known as Woodberry and 10 others by Interpol.
And eventually, the following items were allegedly found in his location and upon his arrest:👇
21 laptops
13 expensive cars
47 smartphones
15 Flash Drives
5 Hard Drives
119580 Files.
However he and his accomplices were this week handed over to the United States, Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).
