Those accusing RCCG Pastor in Edo of planning Uwa's rape and murder should be careful [Opinion]

Good evening beloved readers.

Please, what I want to say is very important and I will advice that we try to read carefully so that we will understand.

About two weeks ago, the news of Vera Uwa, a 100level student of University of Benin who was raped and killed inside an RCCG Church in Edo, broke out. Indeed, people started talking and speculations started flying around concerning what led to her death.

Just early this week, I started seeing updates from some people that one of the suspects who killed Uwa has been caught. That he also has confessed that, it was the church Pastor who paid them #1.5million to murder the innocent girl. The added that Uwa was pregnant for the married Pastor, who demanded an abortion to no avail. In a bid to cover up his track, the pastor set her up in the church where she was killed.

Some other people said that the DSS used forensics to get the finger print of the suspected killer.

See an example of such update:

Honestly, when I read this update from people, I began to marvel how people can be petty.

First, they never showed a video or a picture of the suspects they claimed was caught and has confessed.

Second, no official statement has been released from the Police handling the case or even from the deceased family.

Thirdly, if Uwa was pregnant, only an autopsy will determine so. And no report on that has been given.

Where then did people get their update from?

Since when did the DSS start using forensics to get and dictate people's finger prints?

Is Peter Kalusky a Nigerian or a white man working in DSS?

Could it be that this is all a plan to shake and shame the Church of Christ? A plan to make people derail from their trust and faith in God?

I'm not in anyway supporting the evil and wicked act carried out on the life of the innocent girl, but people should be more careful with what they say about men of God.

Although we have a lot of fake, their are still genuine ones. And God said, "Touch not my anointed, and do my prophet no harm"

Even if it's not a church, accusing a person of such crime without any reliable source or evidence is very dangerous. It is simply bearing false witness.

Lastly, let's not in our quest for justice, harm other innocent people or destroy the church with our assumptions. Even if the Pastor did it, he will face the law. Saying that the church is evil because of a sin of one man is very bad of us. How about the good ones amongst them?

A proverb says" because of mechanics, we can no longer identify mad people! "

Leave the church in your accusations!

Whatever a man sow, he'll reap!

We may miss the real killers of Uwa while we are focused on bringing down the church.

This is my humble opinion.

I hope I made sense?
