Before we get to meet the pretty Cape Verdean wife of the renowned politician Adams Oshiomhole, let us have brief look at the biography of the Ex governor.

Adams Aliyu Oshiomhole was born 4 April 1952.

He is a Nigerian politician and the current national chairman of the All Progressive Congress (APC) political party.

He was the Governor of Edo State, Nigeria on the platform of the Action Congress from November 2008 to November 2016 and he was the president of Nigeria Labour Congress during President Olusegun Obasanjo's administration.

Adams Aliyu Oshiomhole was born at Iyamho, near Auchi in Edo State. He was born Muslim but was led to Christianity by his late wife Clara who died of cancer aged 54. He is Catholic and his Christian name is Eric. After his secondary education, he obtained a job with the Arewa Textiles Company, where he was elected union secretary. He became a full-time trade union organizer in 1975.

He went ahead to study at Ruskin College, Oxford in the United Kingdom where he majored in economics and industrial relations.

He also attended the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies, Kuru.

In 1982, Adams Oshiomhole was appointed General Secretary of the National Union of Textile Garment and Tailoring Workers of Nigeria, a union with over 75,000 workers.

He delved into politics in the year 2007 and contested for the governor of Edo state which he originally lost.

On 20 March 2008, an Edo State election tribunal nullified the election of Oserheimen Osunbor and declared Oshiomhole the winner.

In 2012, he was elected to a second term, winning the elections in a massive landslide. He ended his tenure on 12 November 2016

On 23 June 2018, Adams Oshiomhole emerged as the national chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Nigeria following a voice vote by delegates at the party National convention.

This was the governor's second marriage after he lost his previous wife. Her name was Clara and she lost her fight to cancer.

Oshiomole's wedding was attended by a lot of VIPs like Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, President Muhammadu Buhari and even Oshiomole's family. Lara's parents were also at their daughter's wedding.

Although rumors have it that Lara has a child for Oshiomhole, it is yet to be confirmed as there are no evidences on the social media.
