Ban On 65-Years-Old From Worship Centres, Adeboye, Oyedepo, Kumuyi May Not Be In Church

Ban On 65-Years-Old From Worship Centres, Adeboye, Oyedepo, Kumuyi May Not Be In Church

It will be recalled that following the lifting of ban on religious worship centres by the Federal Government on Monday, many other states are already consolidating on the said declaration by the FG.

In Lagos in particular, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, had declared that Christian worship centres could reopen on June 21, 2020. However, the Governor, warned that persons below 15 years and above 65 years, would be required to stay home.

Also, according to Punchng, the Ogun state Govenir, Dapo Abiodun, on Friday, said that a task force, comprising of the religious leaders, government and security agencies, would be established to monitor and ensure compliance with the agreed guidelines for religious activities, as the state plan to reopen Churches from the 21st of June as well.

In the light of this, considering the fact that Pastor Kumuyi of the Deeper Life, was born on 6th June, 1941 (79-years-old), and Pastor E.A. Adeboye of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, was born on the 2nd of March, 1942, Adeboye (78-years-old), how could these two leading Nigerian Pastors possibly have their way to worship inside church with this age ban ?

In addition, it is worthy of note that the Winner's Chapel founder, Bishop David Oyedepo was born on the 27th of September, 1954, (65-years-old), and may also be affected by this directives.

Do you think the government needs to do a review of their guidelines in order to give room for these men of God to attend Church services from June 21st ?

Kindly share your thoughts on this.
