There has always been speculation about Nollywood female actors being promiscuous and dishonest partners in relationships/marriages.

There are a lot of them that have had failed marriages due to allegations of promiscuity and infidelity and in case you do not know them. The list below would help you identify some of them.

Below are six Nollywood actresses that have allegedly cheated in their marriages.

1. Toni Payne: She is the ex-wife of musician, 9ice. The “Gongo Aso” crooner accused Toni Payne of cheating on him with his friend who many reported to be Ruggedman. This accusation led to her marriage with the singer not experiencing a breath of peace and it eventually led to both of them axing the marriage as they went their separate ways. 

2. Mide-Funmi Martins: She is a Yoruba Nollywood actress who came into the industry under the tutelage of her late mum and the current husband; Afeez Owo. There were rumours in 2016 that this pretty actress cheated on her husband.

The gist was that she lied to her husband that she had a shoot in South Africa, but instead, she went to hook up with her hubby’s best-friend who allegedly slept with her. Meanwhile, there are currently uncertainties about their marriage as no one seems to know if they are still together because of the several public spats they have had in the past.

3. Lola Alao: This Yoruba actress was accused of infidelity by her husband. The clearly-pained man took to social media to blast the actress on all front. According to industry gist, the shame that came as a result of the accusation was why Lola relocated to Canada.

4. Uche Iwuji: She got married to one Juwon Lawal. However, the marriage which produced one child didn’t last long as Uche was always accused by her husband of cheating. In fact, their marriage finally hit the rock when Uche posted a sultry picture on the internet which attracted criticism.

5. Laide Bakare: She is a Yoruba Nollywood actress also who got married to one Mr Okunfulire, a United States-based businessman. She ended her marriage after the accusations of infidelity became enormous from her husband. She later went on to marry a Lagos-based businessman whose name is Tunde Oriowo. He is the one rumoured to be the person Laide was cheating with.

6. Angela Okorie: She is a Nollywood actress and a famous person on Instagram. Angela was once caught on the internet cheating on her husband with a supposed white guy. She got busted when the white guy dropped pictures of when they had good times together on Facebook which led to a whole lot of drama on the internet.

This led to the end of her marriage and till now, she’s not been able to find a confidant.
